Where to start? Hmmm...I would probably have to say it's all George Lucas' fault because after seeing Star Wars at a young age, I was hooked. Growing up in the eightes there was no lack of science fiction, action, advenutre or horror movies. Those films would inspire and feed my brain with ideas to build my own stories. When I started to get into comic books, a natural progression I assured myself, I became more interested in the drawn images I was constantly coming into contact with. That is when I took it upon myself to learn how to draw, and at that point I had begun the next step in my path to being an artist.

I spent the next few years practicing drawing and studying comic book illustrations. After high school I started learning the fundamentals of art, that I could not teach myself, at Fullerton College. While at Fullerton College I also studied graphic design, music and web design. When I finally arrived at Cal State Fullerton I had a well diversified background, but I soon learned that I needed to focus and build my core strength. So I had a tough descision to make, with my many talents and skills which one was the strongest, which could I do over and over again as a job that I would not tire of and also make a living from. Well, it all came back to drawing...sort of.

My love for Star Wars and all other sci-fi epics thereafter all boiled down to one main thing, the characters. To me the characters were the most beloved part of sci-fi, and as a kid, collecting action figures was my thing. As my family could easily attest to, I would always walk around with a Star Wars figure in each hand and one in each pocket. So, it wasn't a hard decision to make, after those many years of studying characters, I would start to create characters myself and now that technology had progressed so much, I would draw them, in 3D.

So, here I am now, ready to create, inspire and learn. Oh, and I didn't forget my Star Wars action figure either, I keep Bobba Fett close to my monitor, least I forget.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story I hope you have a look around and you like what you see. If you feel inclined, please feel free to contact me. I am actively looking for an artist's position within a dynamic and growing studio in the film, game or design industry.
